Saree

Fashion has never been stagnant. Women-wear has evolved through centuries, rather dramatically. In different stages, dresses, blouses, skirts etc. evolved; even gave way to jeans and trousers. Sarees however, have stood the test of time since 8th or 9th century BC; perhaps, even before that, which is evident from the descriptions in Mahabharata and Ramayana.
